Nancy's reserve promoted to National 2 with six other professional reserve teams. A major victory for the Lorraine club. Nancy's reserve team beat Sedan 2-0 in Forêt de Haye to secure their return to the fifth division of French football. Two years after being relegated to Régional 1, ASNL B becomes the 25th professional reserve team to feature in the championship for the next season, and the sixth to validate their promotion at the end of the season. The team of Nicolas Florentin accompanies Rodez, champion of group B in Occitanie, and returns to the fifth level for the first time since their relegation in 2023. It's the same year that the reserve of Mans, champion in the Pays-de-la-Loire, also slipped towards the elite of regional football. It's also the case for Paris FC, which returns to the fifth national division three years later. In Ile-de-France, PFC climbs to the top level with Red Star's B team, promoted for the first time in its history. It's also historic for Annecy, winner of its pool in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. These six promoted teams complete the contingent of professional reserve teams already assured of evolving in National 2 in the coming months: Pau, Toulouse, Nantes, Châteauroux, Laval, Guingamp, Brest, Rennes, Bastia, Versailles, Caen, Metz, Dijon, Orléans, Auxerre, Saint-Étienne, Marseille, Montpellier and Lyon.
